Falling In Love With Your Business Again: My Story Of Rock Bottom & Rebirth

In the second half of 2024, I did something big—I quit my business. Or at least, that’s what I thought at the time. I stopped marketing, reduced my client roster, put a pause on my podcast, and even went around telling people I was quitting my business. I felt completely overwhelmed. Between running a business, being a mom, and managing a household, I was stretched way too thin. Something had to give, and at that moment, it was my business.
Fast forward six months, and I’m here to tell you that I not only returned to my business but also fell back in love with it. If you’ve ever felt stuck, uninspired, or downright burnt out, keep reading—I’m sharing my journey of rediscovery and the strategies that helped me reignite my passion.
From Rock Bottom to Rebirth
At the time, I felt I was stripped of my identity as a business owner, I found myself asking, Who am I without this? Why was I even doing this in the first place? It was painful, but I knew I couldn’t rush the process.
I needed to sit in the discomfort and let myself transform.
During this time, I leaned into tarot, journaling, consistently napping, and traveling. Slowly, I started peeling away the layers of who I thought I was. And in doing so, I discovered who I truly AM.
Eventually, I reached a pivotal realization: I may have let go of my business, but I still have a message to share. And that message felt stronger than ever. But now, I knew I needed to do things differently. I had to rebuild in a way that felt true to me—without the burnout, the pressure, or the exhaustion that had drained me before.
Building a Business That Feels Easy and True
I committed to simplifying everything. Here’s what that looked like in practice:
✅ No more overproduction – Filming videos without worrying about my hair or makeup.
✅ More storytelling, less perfection – Authenticity became my guiding principle.
✅ More solo episodes – Feeling free to talk on camera
With this, work felt easy again. I built structure to stay consistent:
🌟 Using astrology to plan my week
🌟 Structured childcare
🌟 Simplified offers – My Business Blueprint is my go-to free resource.
🌟 Project management software – Asana keeps me organized.
🌟 Delegating – My assistant, Caitlin, lightens my load.
🌟 Getting help at home – Less stress, more focus.
From Burnout to Business Bliss
This new approach didn’t just bring me back from burnout—it made me fall in love with my business again. I now feel excited about the future rather than overwhelmed by it. Instead of constantly playing catch-up, I have space to ask myself, What do I want this podcast to look like in five years?
At the start of each week:
❤️I know what content is dropping and when.
❤️I have a clear workflow and structured plan.
❤️My audience continues to grow because I show up consistently with valuable content.
❤️Most importantly, I feel aligned, energized, and truly excited about where my business is heading.
